City of Dunedin Residents,
As part of our ongoing commitment to better serve and understand the needs of our community, the City of Dunedin is conducting a community survey. Your input continues to play a vital role in shaping the City’s priorities, services, and long-term policies.
Since launching our first Citizen Survey in 2019, the City has remained focused on addressing the top concerns identified by residents. Over the past several years your feedback has helped guide meaningful progress across the community. The 2024 survey identified key focus areas which you prioritized including improving coastal resiliency, increasing the availability of affordable housing, investing in quality public infrastructure and improving parks and greenspaces. Some key projects that resulted from your feedback in these areas include:
· Renovations and updates at athletic fields, Gladys Douglas Preserve, Kiwanis Sprayground, and completing construction on the Eagle Scout Park Pickleball Courts;
· Developing a Vulnerability Assessment and Adaptation Plan to address impacts of environmental hazards on critical assets;
· Award of Construction of over 14 Capital Improvement Projects totaling $25M, including the Pavement Management Program and the Waste Water Treatment Plant Electrical System Upgrade;
· Approved development of a 78 unit affordable housing project “Flats on Main”;
· Completed the roadway construction for the Skinner Boulevard Complete Streets project.
By participating in this survey, you have an opportunity to share your perspectives, concerns, and ideas for the future. Your feedback will help us continue enhancing the quality of life for all who live, work, and visit Dunedin, and ensure our city remains vibrant and resilient.
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and for partnering with us to build an even stronger Dunedin community.
Sincerely,
Jennifer K. Bramley, ICMA Credentialed City Manager
