We have captured what we heard from the last round of community engagement and compiled a list of actions, goals and projects that would help guide the growth of the town’s evolution for the next 30 years. We would now like to know which of these projects is most important to you, so we can look at these projects a bit more closely and establish how they might be developed in Rutherglen!
For each of the potential projects, we have established an approximate time frame, cost and prerequisites that might be required to get this project off the ground.
What does this mean:
For example, a short term goal might only require a small piece of funding, and limited planning or consultation for it to get off the ground, where as a long term project might have more complexities, for example requiring significant funding or partnerships, or a staged approach for implementation.
What is the purpose of this survey:
This doesn’t mean the priority should be the quick and easier projects! We would like to know a bit more about which projects you would like to see happen the most, and as part of the Place Plan we can look at how these projects might be developed in more depth.
