3.
Erika Goetzinger for Co-Treasurer-
Erika received her Bachelor of Science in nursing degree from Missouri State University in 2015. She immediately began working at Cox South on the neuro/ortho unit for 4 years where she also helped fill in the role of charge nurse when needed. She then decided to make a change and move her nursing career out of acute care and took a job with The Arc of the Ozarks working with individuals with mental and physical disabilities. This job brought a tremendous amount of joy and light into her life doing the work she felt called to do. While working here, she became interested in not only treating patients but wanting to be involved in the diagnosing and planning phase as well. She began NP school in 2020 and graduated with her Master's of Science in nursing degree as a family nurse practitioner in May 2023. She took some time off prior to starting her NP career as she and her husband started a family and welcomed their first child in Jan. 2024. She then began working for Mercy Cardiology and has been there since. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, husband, and their dog, going to the lake, trying new foods, and working out at Burn Boot Camp.
I would be honored to serve as co-treasurer for APNO. I will help ensure that our finances are managed responsibly and transparently and I am committed to making thoughtful financial decisions that benefit our members and help the organization continue to grow and succeed.
