Northern Territory PHN is committed to the ongoing support of health professionals living in remote areas. 

Primary health care professionals who reside outside of Darwin and Palmerston – in areas classified as MMM 3–7 – may be eligible for a grant of up to two nights' accommodation for Friday 14 and Saturday 15 August to attend Compass 2020.

What about travel costs?

Eligible delegates (non-government employees) are invited to apply now for a bursary to cover their travel costs to attend Compass 2020. 

Please note: You must apply for a bursary before undertaking the educational activities (including eligible travel) that you would like to claim. Activities undertaken prior to an application approval are not eligible for payment.

• I am registered for and will be attending Compass 2020.
• I confirm I am a remote attendee, in a region classified MMM 3–7 in accordance with the Department of Health - custom remoteness classification.
• I understand that any changes or adjustments to the confirmed accommodation booked by Northern Territory PHN on Friday 14 and Saturday 15 August 2020 will be at my own expense.
• I understand the accommodation booking is non-transferable once it has been booked and confirmed.
• I understand that if I have booked accommodation through Northern Territory PHN but fail to attend the conference, I will be liable for the cost of the accommodation.
• I understand any consumables, including breakfast and hotel services incurred during my stay are at my own cost.
