Sharing Citizen Science Examples for SciStarter and STAR Net

While citizen science projects are open to anyone, not everyone has the necessary tools and support to participate. SciStarter and the School for the Future of Innovation in Society at Arizona State University are partnering with public libraries  to facilitate citizen science through partnerships, programming, and the ability to lend specialized tools to patrons. In preparation for Global Citizen Science Month (April 2020) and to share resources and best practices, SciStarter, ASU and STAR net are collecting examples of citizen science programs, projects, kits and other resources available through libraries around the world and we invite you to help populate and share this document. (SciStarter will post the shared document and other citizen science resources for librarians--including the 2020 version of the Librarian's Guide to Citizen Science and a new Citizen Science Program in a Box-- on https://scistarter.org/library-kits . This page is currently under development.)

Don't forget to join us for our November 14 webinar, Citizen Science Month (and Beyond!) at Your Library. More info here: http://www.starnetlibraries.org/event/citizen-science-month-at-your-library/
