Welcome to the ANPD Preceptor Assessment Tool (PAT) Repository. The PAT Repository has been developed to provide a source of aggregate preceptor data for researchers, key organizational team members, and others who are interested in measuring what preceptors do, their contributions to orientees, and their contributions to their organization.
If applicable, your organization will be provided de-identified aggregate data from their staff/team members upon request. If your organization provided an alphanumeric code, you will be asked to provide that code in the PAT. This code is used to extract your organization’s data in aggregate form. You will not be individually identified in this report.

If you are accessing the PAT as part of the Preceptor Certificate of Mastery (PCOM) program, please follow these instructions:
All PCOM applicants will be required to upload three PATs to their PCOM submission.
The preceptee applicant, the preceptee, and Manager/NPD practitioner/faculty who provides oversight for the preceptor/preceptee dyad must indicate their accessible email address at the end of the assessment to obtain a copy. Please provide the copy to the preceptee applicant. This serves as the required documentation.
If you have been asked to provide a copy of your completed assessment, you must provide an email address at the end of the assessment. You will receive a link to download your responses, which can be submitted to the designated organizational representative. DO NOT exit the survey before providing your email as ANPD will not be able to provide a copy.
