Survey of Parents' Attitudes towards VET as a Career Pathway for Young People
Thank you for participating in the Australian Apprenticeships and Traineeships Information Service (AATIS) survey of parents' attitudes towards Vocational Education and Training (VET) and future career pathways.
This survey is part of a project focusing on Parents and their attitudes towards VET as a career pathway now and into the future. We aim to develop our understanding of how parents influence young people so that we can offer parents better information about how they can help young people make the most informed decisions.
This survey aims to gain an idea of parents' attitudes towards Vocational Education and Training (VET) and understand the level of knowledge parents have of the future of work and what career opportunities exist for young people in the 'digital age'.
Although this survey targets parents most of all, it is open to anyone that plays a significant role in the education and career decision-making processes of a young person/young people - that is, individuals that are 'parent figures'.
All eligible participants in the survey will go in the running to win double-pass Gold Class movie tickets.
We encourage you to complete every question of the survey. The basic personal details we will ask you to enter will not be used to identify you except if:
- you have won the movie tickets; or
- at the end of the survey you tell us that you answer 'Yes' to being interested in and consent to participating in further research about this topic and provide your contact details.
