Hamden Town Center Master Plan Survey

Hamden’s Town Center

The Hamden Town Center Master Plan will create a long-term vision and implementation roadmap for the Town Center, with a focus on development, economic vitality, public gathering places, connectivity, accessibility, sustainability, and sense of place. The Town Center serves as a civic and community hub for Hamden, generally centered around the intersection of Dixwell Avenue and Whitney Avenue, two of the Town's primary corridors. This area includes key destinations such as Town Hall, Miller Memorial Library, the Senior Center, Town Center Park, Hamden Middle School, Freedom Park, and a mix of commercial and retail areas.

The project team wants to hear from residents, business owners, property owners, students, visitors, and other community members about what works well today, what needs improvement, and what priorities should guide future recommendations. Your input will help shape ideas for land use, housing, transportation, parks, public spaces, community facilities, businesses, and the overall character of Hamden’s Town Center.
