Residential Parking District: Survey of Interest |
Dear West End neighbors,
The SMART service launch is just a few months away. Now is the time to determine if there is interest in creating residential parking district(s) within the West End. Many of us rely on street parking or are impacted by streets over-crowded with parked cars.
To create a residential parking district a supermajority of residents must be in support of the program on a street by street basis. Annual cost to residents is $20 per vehicle (limit 3 for house and 1 per unit for apartments). Guest passes are available for residents to purchase as well. Parking district restriction for 2-hour parking is enforced Mon-Sat, 8am-6pm.
This survey will gauge general interest and provide guidance on which streets should be targeted for inclusion in an eventual district. Specifics on the City's Parking District program may be found at http://ci.santa-rosa.ca.us/departments/Parking/Pages/ResidentialParking.aspx
