ADEA is seeking
two Early Career Researchers (ECRs) to join the ADEA Research Advisory Group, which provides advice on diabetes education research, supports ADEA's research strategy, and helps build research capability among members.
About the RoleECR members (defined as PhD candidates or less than 10 years post-PhD) contribute contemporary research perspectives and support initiatives that strengthen evidence-based education.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on ADEA's research priorities
- Support research capacity-building activities (e.g., webinars, mentorship)
- Contribute to the research program for the Australasian Diabetes Congress
- Attend quarterly meetings
- Uphold confidentiality and conflict-of-interest requirements
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be current ADEA members
- Be a PhD Candidate or ECR (less than 10 years post-PhD)
- Have research experience relevant to diabetes education
Term
Three-year appointment.
