It is suggested that faculty are nominated by their institution’s President/CEO, Provost/Academic Vice President or Dean with a limit of one nominee per institution. ITC will recognize every faculty member who is nominated for this award as a distinguished educator, chosen by his or her institution as an exemplary member of his or her community.
The faculty member must have taught at least two fully-distance learning classes in the past year. Documentation of their outstanding teaching and class management strategies is required along with course success retention figures, and other pertinent information. The documented teaching and/or course management strategies must be replicable and of value to the teaching profession.
A panel of ITC judges will choose ONE or TWO exemplary faculty members to receive ITC's 2021 Outstanding eLearning Faculty award from this pool of distinguished educators. ITC will provide a complimentary registration to these one or two outstanding educators to attend the ITC 2022 Annual Conference - eLearning.
Please complete the following application and submit it online. It is suggested, but not required, that the nomination is made by the institution’s President/CEO, Provost/Academic Vice President or Dean. Nominees should not use more space than is allotted on the application. The nominee needs to be prepared to provide a demonstration of their valuable teaching and/or course management strategies. This may require access to one of the courses that the nominee teaches.
