AWARD DESCRIPTION
The Outstanding Continuing Educator award serves as source of inspiration to recognize those who have gone above and beyond in their contributions to the field of continuing education on a state, national, or international level. This recognition honors their overall impact and dedication to advancing education.
CRITERIA
1. Nominations must be made by a current member of CEANY in good standing.
2. Nomination must be for a current member of CEANY in good standing, self nominations are acceptable.
3. Nomination must be from within the last year of annual conference.
4. Should have made exemplary contributions to the field of public continuing higher education during the recent past.
5. Should have made significant contributions to the advancement and recognition of continuing education theory and practice.
6. Should have provided significant leadership by establishing a benchmark in the improvement and/or direction of continuing higher education in New York State.
