The MSDC Board of Directors has recommended the following change to the MSDC bylaws. The change would be to Article X, Section 3 on the election of officers. Please vote below on the change.
N.b., you are only permitted to vote once and need to include your name for your vote to count. Only Active Members in good standing may vote in this election. This election will run from August 6 - August 20, 2026.
Current text:
President-elect. The President-elect shall be elected by the membership
and shall have been an Active member of the Society for at least five consecutive years immediately prior to his election. The President-elect shall serve a term of one year, after which he shall automatically become President. The President-elect shall not be eligible for re-election.
Proposed change:
