The Harry S Truman Coordinating Council (HSTCC) is a quasi-governmental, not-for-profit regional planning commission that has been providing services to our communities since 1953. Our board of directors is comprised of serving mayors, commissioners, and city council members across Jasper, Newton, Macdonald, and Barton Counties.
HSTCC is responsible for the implementation and management of state and federal funding programs received from both the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA). HSTCC is currently conducting a survey to assess and fulfill state and federal reporting requirements for FEMA and SEMA funding.
This survey is required in order to apply or continue to receive state and federal grants for projects such as building tornado safe rooms, flood buy out programs, building code changes, elevating roadbeds subject to flooding, flood control projects, flood-prone property acquisition, and structure demolition/relocation, wind damage to building and property, flood-prone structure elevation, dry floodproofing of historical residential and non-residential structures, and numerous other benefits to your community. Please help us to keep your grant eligibility status by filling out the following 5 questions.
