We are looking for site tours that focus on educating participants about Passivhaus Buildings. Please include as much information about this project and tour as possible, this will help our team to craft an event listing and attract an audience.
Submitting your form should be completed only after the event is organised and ready to run. Incomplete forms will not be accepted, as all information is required to run the event. Site tours are to be held on one day only, please include date and time. Site tour content should not directly market the businesses involved.
Site tours must be sent to APA Staff a minimum of 4 weeks prior to the event, or they will not be considered.
Properties submitted for site tours must be certified or in the process of being certified. Any promotion of suppliers, products, or services during a site tour requires prior written approval from APA.
Please note that APA maintains a neutral position and does not endorse specific suppliers or products through its site tour program. APA also reserves the right to respectfully decline any promotional requests to avoid potential conflicts or misalignment with its values and commitments
Large groups of registrants can be accepted; however, they will need to enter through the property in small groups no larger than 15 and remain with the group.
This event is an APA event and will be marketed accordingly. All introductions given by hosts are expected to welcome attendees to the APA event. Introduction will be sent to site tour hosts.
Graphics for event will be sent to the site tour hosts, these must be used to promote the event.
All APA event registrations must be run through APA’s CRM/Event Portal. It is critical for our records that APA has a comprehensive list of registrants at site tours.
Site Tours are offered Free of Charge to APA Members and for $20.00 for non-members. This is important to:
1. Help APA keep membership fees lower through revenue diversification
2. To demonstrate the value of membership
3. Cover the costs of our organisation coordinating and facilitating these educational events
Post event photos are to be sent to APA for marketing purposes.
Running a site tour with APA provides assurance that the event will be run professionally, that the event is marketed, and that the opportunity is shared with the wider market.
APA do not run joint site-tours, if you would like a joint run site tour, APA will not be involved. Site tours must not be marketed on other platforms.
While we would like to support each event, the content supplied in this form must be reviewed and considered within our resourcing constraints and strategic objectives.
If your organisation/individual do not follow our guidelines you are not welcome to attend or host further site tours.
