This form is to nominate an AIRA Board director. If you are nominating someone, we encourage you to ask that person if they are interested in serving on the board. Each AIRA Board nominee will need to complete an application. AIRA will reach out to each nominee with this information.

Requirements
- All nominees for the AIRA Board must be associated with a paid AIRA member organization.
- Representatives from corporate partners are not permitted to serve on the board.
- No more than twenty percent (20%) of the total board shall be comprised of individual members, nonprofit members, and IIS implementers.
Open Positions
There are three open director positions for the 2026 election cycle. Please review the seat descriptions and eligibility requirements below before submitting your nomination.

- IIS director (two-year term) — Nominee must be a designated voting member of a paid IIS member organization.
- IIS director (one-year term) — Nominee must be a designated voting member of a paid IIS member organization. This is a one-year term resulting from a midterm vacancy.
- Non-IIS director (two-year term) — Nominee must be a designated voting member of a paid IIS implementer, nonprofit member, or individual member.
How positions will be filled
For the IIS director category, the candidate receiving the highest number of votes will be offered the two-year term, and the candidate receiving the second highest number of votes will be offered the one-year term. For the non-IIS director category, the candidate receiving the highest number of votes will be offered the two-year term.
