Question Title

6. How concerned are you about the following park conditions?

*Fire exclusion: Fire exclusion in Oregon's ecosystems, driven by policies aiming to eliminate all fires, has disrupted natural fire regimes and ecosystem dynamics. Indigenous cultural burning, once integral to maintaining biodiversity, has been replaced by dense undergrowth due to a lack of regular fires. This has shifted forest composition towards fire-sensitive species, diminishing ecological resilience and species diversity. Reevaluating fire management strategies is crucial to restore balance and promote biodiversity in Oregon's forests.
