Wheels on the Bus Real Time Data - Survey for Riders with Disabilities

VTA is currently conducting a study to see if providing real-time data about the occupancy of mobility device securement areas on buses would improve the customer experience for those using mobility devices, such as power and manual wheelchairs.

Take a quick survey to let us know what you think! Your input is key to the success of this project.

Visit the project website for more information.
1.Have you ever taken a wheelchair/mobility device on a VTA bus?(Required.)
2.What is the biggest challenge to bringing your wheelchair/mobility device on a VTA bus?
3.How might VTA solve those challenges?
4.Have you been denied boarding with your wheelchair/mobility device on a VTA bus because there was no room for it onboard?(Required.)
5.If you answered yes to the previous question, please tell us about the experience(s). What did you do? What bus route(s) were you taking?
6.Does the potential to be denied boarding make you less likely to take the bus?(Required.)
7.If VTA could tell you, for example, through a mobile app, if there was space for a wheelchair/mobility device on the bus before the bus arrived, would you find it helpful?(Required.)
8.What bus route(s) do you take frequently?
