In March, we introduced you to our mascot and asked you to give it a name. You answered the call; we had tons of submissions. We narrowed it down to the two most popular names that had the most meaning: CC and Francis. Now we need you to break the tie with a vote. Here’s a little about each name:

CC stands for the Circle of Care, the proper name for the Roper St. Francis Healthcare logo, and it’s the mascot's shape. The red represents the care that our teammates and doctors provide; the purple embodies the generations of patients treated at Roper St. Francis Healthcare. The white symbolizes our mission of healing all people with compassion, faith and excellence.

Francis is a name found in almost every entity of our healthcare system. Its roots go back to the 1800s when five Sisters of Charity of Our Lady of Mercy opened St. Francis Infirmary on Calhoun Street. The name represents a deep connection to our faith-based history and commitment to our mission.
