Whether you are a manager, part-time or full-time employee, or a consultant, you're the social media professional we want to hear from. We are gathering information from social media professionals across the country and in as many industries as possible so we can continue to provide the most current social media strategist certification available.


The survey will take approximately 15 minutes for you to complete (depending on the amount of information you choose to share) and will cover three main areas:
  1. Demographics. Who are you and what experience do you have working as a social media professional?
  2. The Importance of the Six Main Categories Typically Associated with Social Media Management. How important is community management, marketing & communication, compliance & governance, research & analysis, business development and strategic planning to you and your team?
  3. Development Needs. What types of social media training and certifications would you like to participate in?  
The survey results will be used to further the research we are doing in the area of professional social media management. All details (specific organizations, names and other identifying factors) will be removed or reported in aggregate form to protect the privacy of survey participants.
