The Oregon Federal Executive Board (OFEB) Associates Program offers rising federal leaders in Oregon and SW Washington a unique opportunity for professional development within a group of motivated federal peers who care deeply about the impact of public service. The FEB partners with exceptional federal leaders at the SES-level as well as Portland Community College’s respected CLIMB Center for Advancement to deliver a rigorous academic and hands-on program aligned with Office of Personnel Management’s Executive Core Qualifications. In addition to the core competency focus, the program offers executive shadows, inspiring speaker panels, and a collaborative team project that will have a lasting impact on the local federal community.

The inter-agency context and focus on challenges affecting the wider federal workforce ensure this opportunity is ideal for employees who aspire to leadership in areas requiring collaborative work across organizations and agencies, and serves as a complement to agencies’ own internally-focused leadership development opportunities.

Please fill out the Supervisor Endorsement form below to help us understand the strengths and areas of improvement for your candidate, and acknowledge your support of your employee's participation in this program.

Due to the high level of interest in the Associates Program, OFEB asks that each agency pre-screen their candidates. Small and midsize agencies should submit no more than two candidates for consideration. Large agencies should submit no more than three candidates
