ES 2025-26 Parent & Carer Needs Assessment — Sexuality & Sexual Health Education

Welcome

Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey. It will take about 5 minutes to complete.

Family Planning Australia, NSW Health and the NSW Department of Education are working together to understand what parents and carers need to feel confident talking with their children about sexuality and sexual health. Your feedback will help us create useful resources for families.

This survey asks about:
  • how confident you feel having these conversations
  • which topics are most important to you
  • how you prefer to receive information
  • any language or accessibility needs
This anonymous survey is voluntary. You do not need to provide any personal details and may skip any question or stop at any time. Responses will be combined and reported as overall results. De-identified data will be stored securely by Family Planning Australia.

If you have any questions about this survey, please contact education@fpnsw.org.au.
