Pend Oreille PUD is working toward 100% clean energy by 2045 as required state law - the roadmap to that is called the Clean Energy Implementation Plan (CEIP). Along the way, we need to make sure the transition benefits everyone and that we keep with our mission of connecting our community with safe, reliable, economical, and sustainable services 24/7. This simple form is a way to share your thoughts about the clean energy transition. Here are some topics that the plan explores: identifying the vulnerable populations in our communities, assessing barriers to participation in our programs, developing strategies to make sure clean energy benefits everyone; and what actions to take to reduce barriers and track progress.
