- recognizing differences in emphasis in the care of patients who are dying and the design of hospitals perception of health and disease.
- recognizing the growing influence of artificial intelligence in medicine.
- appraising the costs of modern medicines’ emphasis on efficiency and cost control.
- examining alternative medical practice models that fall outside of mainstream medicine.
- identifying the science underlying natural or fertility awareness-based methods (FABMs).
- identifying important role that hospice care plays in providing individualized care for dying patients, demonstrating respect for each person and their unique values and beliefs as they prepare for death.
- identifying AI tools are now being used to help streamline medical diagnoses and treatment selections, save practitioners valuable time by assisting with documentation tasks, and in general improve the efficiency of patient care.
