Here in Northamptonshire, the National Health Service (NHS) and the County Council are looking to gather thoughts, views and opinions from young people on how best to support them if they are worried, feel troubled and need to talk to somebody.

The NHS and the County Council would like to better understand what young people feel about the services available now and also what type of services they would like to see in the future.

This is your chance to have your say and make a real difference – the NHS and the County Council really want to hear your views which will be used to design services in the future. This survey will only take a few minutes to complete – so go on, help us by Talking out Loud!

* 1. If you feel unhappy, worried or troubled, who do you think you could you go to?

* 2. What type of problems do young people have that you think could be supported by someone you can talk to?
(i.e. counsellor)

* 3. At what age do you think a young person needs to be before they would benefit from meeting with someone they can talk to?

* 4. At what times in the week should this be available?

* 5. What places would it be best for this service to operate from?

* 6. Would you ever consider using this type of support online?

* 7. How do we make sure that our youth counselling service is a really good service that you would want to use?

* 8. Any other ideas or comments?
