East Gwillimbury (EG)’s vision is to be a resilient, sustainable and welcoming community that connects residents to their community, services, and opportunities. The Council-approved Environmental Strategy supports this vision by focusing on protecting and restoring the environment and creating opportunities for residents to connect with nature and their community.
Community gardens can help support these goals by providing shared outdoor spaces where residents can grow vegetables and flowers, learn about urban food gardening, connect with neighbours, and contribute to local food security.
The Town is exploring opportunities to support community-managed gardens in EG and would like to hear from you. Please complete this survey to share your thoughts, interest, and ideas about community gardens in EG.
