All Aboard!

The vacant Depot building in the heart of the Callicoon hamlet is being brought to life through the work of volunteers, grants and donations. Funding for a visitor center for the Upper Delaware Scenic Byway will be used to rehabilitate the central portion of the building to serve that purpose. Other areas of the Depot will be improved over time, as funding allows, to serve the community. Thank you for taking the time to help us plan a vibrant future for this historic resource.

* 1. The Central New York Railroad is making the Callicoon Depot available at a nominal lease of $1/month so that it can serve community needs. What would you like to see take place here? Please note that some revenue-generating activities may be needed to sustain the project, though proposed activities should not compete with existing businesses or public facilities in the hamlet.
