Welcome to the survey about Wild Cards related to the transportation industries.

This survey is part of the EU-funded project RACE2050 (http://race2050.org/), which deals with the possible futures of the transportation industries. The survey is conducted by the Unit for Technology & Society Foresight (TSF) at Tel Aviv University.

A "Wild Card" is a potential future event with a low likelihood of occurrence but a high impact if it occurs. Examples for wild cards include the Berlin Wall fall, the 9/11 terrorist attack, or the oil embargo from the Seventies. Your opinion about "wild cards" in transportation will provide important inputs to the construction of novel scenarios for 2030 and 2050 on the competitiveness of the European transport industries.

We thank you for your participation. The results of the survey will be shared with you if you wish so (as indicated in the last page of the survey).

If you have any comments about certain questions in the survey, you can add them at the 'comment' field at the bottom of each question. You can also send your comments and thoughts directly to Dr. Aharon Hauptman, at haupt@post.tau.ac.il
