NJ Youth Soccer is launching this NJYS Respect Campaign, designed to improve the local soccer community and the experiences of all involved, both on and off the field.

To get involved, the NJYS community is urged to recognize and acknowledge acts of respect by players, coaches, parents, referees, and administrators. If you observe someone taking the extra step to promote a more respectful atmosphere around youth soccer, nominate them as an NJYS Respect Ambassador by filling out this form.

NJYS will review nominations and recognize one (1) nominee each month as the NJYS Respect Campaign winner. The recipient will receive an award courtesy of various NJYS partners (e.g., New York Red Bulls, Gotham FC and Philadelphia Union). The recipient will also be recognized via NJYS digital communications (e.g., website, social media and monthly newsletters).

To further advance respect in the game, we also encouraged members to post a picture on social media that portrays and describes the observed respectful act. Make sure to use the hashtag #NJYSRespect and tag @NJYouthSoccer on the post so they can be recognized by our state association.
