Village of Orland Park Seeks Residents’ Feedback.
Board of Fire and Police Commissioners (BFPC) was established in 1972. There are three members on the board.
This is a statutory board which operates under the auspices of state law, Title 2, Chapter 3 of the Village Code. They also have local rules they establish for hiring, discharge, and promotion of police officers to the rank of sergeant.
The three members must have the qualifications required of other officers of the village.
RECOMMENDATIONS
•Required by state statute
The village is inviting residents to offer input on the 17 advisory boards and commissions currently part of local government.
