The Entomological Society of America (ESA) is the largest membership organization in the world for individuals who work with or study insects. ESA runs two successful certification programs. The Board Certified Entomologist (BCE) program is focused on those who have a formal degree in entomology. Applicants can certify in up to six specialty areas.

The Associate Certified Entomologist (ACE) program is focused on those whose experience is more applied with no academic degree required to apply. To date, the ACE program has only targeted the structural pest management industry. However, ESA is considering developing a certification program for the turf and ornamental market place. The goal of this survey is to determine the feasibility of this undertaking.

The 10 question survey should take no more than 3-4 minutes to complete. Your input is very much appreciated. The survey closes on April 1st. All responses will be kept confidential with data only being used in the aggregate.
