As you may know, the Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) is developing a new five-year strategic plan (2026–2030) to guide our work on behalf of DC’s students, families, and educators.
We want to hear directly from you. Your perspectives will help shape OSSE’s priorities, how we partner with schools and families and how we measure our success serving students from birth to adulthood over the next five years. We asked stakeholders for feedback in December 2025 when we began this process, and now we are ready to share the plan’s proposed framework that is grounded in that feedback.
This brief survey (about 10 minutes) gives you an opportunity to share your thoughts on the emerging framework for our plan. Responses are anonymous and will be summarized only in aggregate. We ask for feedback by Friday, March 27, 2026. Your feedback and input will inform revisions and updates to as the plan is developed.
