Revathi A-Davidson, MPH Healthcare Administrator, Retired Nominee, Board Member
Retired in 2013, Revathi A-Davidson’s experience includes serving as a senior healthcare manager with strong in-patient hospital experience, demonstrated communication skills, and collaborative staff development. She is a seasoned administrator who successfully managed the transition of a $15 million, 750-employee home healthcare agency; and a new $5 million radiation therapy facility. Ms. A-Davidson is a successful researcher, creative program developer and presenter, and information analyst with over 30 years’ experience working in a leading statewide integrated healthcare delivery system. She has utilized systems thinking and process improvement methodology in the healthcare and not-for-profit sector, is a trained Baldrige examiner, and has intermediate-level Spanish speaking, reading, and writing skills.
Barrett Brewer Board Chair, Grant County Community Foundation Renewing, board member since 2019 Nominee, Chair
Ms. Brewer founded the Grant County Community Foundation in Silver City, NM. She established the first Mobile Food Pantry in Gila, NM and now works as the Volunteer Coordinator. She was awarded the 2013 Rio Grande Volunteer of the Year and serves on the board of the Gila Valley Library. She has extensive experience in setting policy on school boards and the City Council. Barrett is also a “book artist,” creating one-of-a-kind and edition “artist’s books.” She received a Master’s at the Grant Institute of Geology in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Terry Brunner, MA CEO, Pivotal New Mexico Renewing, board member since 2019 Nominee, Treasurer
Terry has worked for more than 25 years in New Mexico public policy and community development. He currently serves as the CEO of Pivotal New Mexico (formerly The Grants Collective), an Albuquerque-based nonprofit organization helping organizations get the funding they need to achieve their charitable and social missions. Prior to his time with Pivotal New Mexico, Terry spent 7 years as President Obama’s appointee to the position of USDA New Mexico State Director for Rural Development. During that time, he managed investments of more than $1 billion in housing, small business, renewable energy, and utilities in rural areas throughout New Mexico. Before his time at USDA he served as former U.S. Senator Jeff Bingaman’s State Director for 7 years. Terry holds a B.A. in Latin American Studies from the University of Arizona and a M.A. In Latin American Studies with an emphasis in Community and Regional Planning from the University of New Mexico.
Nelsy Dominguez Program Director, Con Alma Health Foundation Renewing, board member since 2021
Nelsy has many years of non-profit organizational and programmatic experience in the philanthropic and non-profit sectors, most notably as the Deputy Director at Farm to Table NM and Program Director at the New Mexico Community Foundation. Throughout, Nelsy has focused on coalescing opportunities that optimize collaboration and investment in New Mexico’s communities with a commitment to equity, leadership development, and to improving quality of life and economic opportunity of New Mexicans. Life experiences ingrained a belief in the fundamental importance of addressing structural and institutional systems of inequities and of working towards changes that honor, care, and respect one another.
Angelo Gonzales, M.A., Ph.D. Managing Director, New Mexico Public Education Department Renewing, board member since 2019
Dr. Gonzales has spent his career working at the intersection of higher education, government, and non-profit organizations, bringing data, research, and community voice to bear on many of our community’s most pressing social and educational challenges. As the founder and previous Executive Director of Mission: Graduate, a cradle-to-career education partnership in Albuquerque, Dr. Gonzales is an ardent practitioner of the collective impact approach to systems change. He also has extensive skills and experience in community outreach, public policy, grant making, strategic planning, continuous improvement, and executive leadership.

Previously, Dr. Gonzales served as Chief Strategy Officer at United Way of Central New Mexico (UWCNM), where he led the implementation of UWCNM’s impact agenda and its associated strategic initiatives—Mission: Graduate and Mission: Families. Dr. Gonzales also worked as a Research Assistant Professor and Associate Director of the University of New Mexico (UNM) Cradle to Career Policy Institute (formerly known as the Center for Education Policy Research), and he worked for U.S. Senator Jeff Bingaman for over six years in both his Washington and Albuquerque offices. Dr. Gonzales holds an M.A. and Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of California at Berkeley and a B.A. in Chemistry from Pomona College. He is a proud New Mexico native and graduate of Del Norte High School, having co-founded the Del Norte High School AlumKnights, a nonprofit organization that has awarded over $70,000 in scholarship to DNHS graduates since 2013.
Kathy Keith Director Community Partnerships, Los Alamos National Laboratory Community Partnerships Office Renewing, board member since 2017
Kathy Keith is the Los Alamos National Laboratory’s Director of Community Programs Office within the Communications and Public Affairs Division. Prior to that, Kathy served as the executive director of the Regional Development Corporation, a nonprofit organization established to help build a diverse and sustainable economy in northern New Mexico. Previously, as Public Works, LLC’s New Mexico Director Kathy managed economic development and workforce projects nationwide, specializing in innovative public policy, planning and efficiency projects for state and local governments. Before then, she served as the Economic Development Director for the State of New Mexico.

Kathy has over 20 years of experience in public policy including working as a Legislative Director to a United States Congressman, as a presidential appointee at the US Department of Energy, and as the Director of Economic Development for the New Mexico Economic Development Department. She has worked across the nation as a consultant assisting states and communities in designing and implementing innovative economic and workforce development projects that serve their needs. She is appointed by the Mayor of Santa Fe to serve on the standing Business and Quality of Life Committee and is an elected member of the Governing Board of the Santa Fe Community College.
Sara Keller Vice President of Community Engagement, Nusenda Credit Union Renewing, board member since 2021
Sara Keller is the VP of Community Engagement for Nusenda Credit Union where she oversees the philanthropic, community development, and financial capabilities programs of the Credit Union, including Nusenda Foundation and CDFI Programming. Sara moved to New Mexico in 2010 and followed her passion for community work to a career in fundraising and development. After nearly a decade in development and fundraising in the non-profit sector, Sara pivoted to a career in financial services corporate philanthropy to develop strategic partnerships, support change across the state, and work to develop systems to provide access to capital to marginalized communities. Sara serves as Board President for NMCAN, is the Co-Chair for the New Mexico Asset Funders Network, and sits on the National Assets Funders Programming Committee. In her free time, Sara enjoys adventuring across New Mexico and the southwest with her husband and toddler. Sara holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Bowling Green State University.
Amanda J. Montoya, Ph.D. Executive Director, Chamiza Foundation, Renewing, board member since 2019 Nominee, Secretary
Dr. Montoya is from the Pueblos of Taos, Ohkay Owingeh and Isleta. She previously held positions as Community Development Planner for Taos Pueblo, American Indian Tourism Specialist for the New Mexico Tourism Department and Program Manager for the Indigenous Design and Planning Institute at the University of New Mexico. She graduated from Arizona State University with her Ph.D. in Justice Studies as part of the Pueblo Ph.D. Cohort Program. She also holds an A.A.S in Geographical Information Technology from Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute, a B.S. in Hotel, Restaurant & Tourism Management from New Mexico State University, and an MCRP in Community and Regional Planning from the University of New Mexico’s School of Architecture and Planning.
Johanna C. Nelson, MBA, CEcD Strategic Programs Manager, Office of the Secretary - New Mexico Economic Development Department Nominee, Board Member
Johanna Nelson has served as Strategic Programs Manager in the Office of the Secretary of the New Mexico Economic Development Department and has worked for the Department since 2015. In this role, Ms. Nelson Manager manages an Economic Development Administration $1.5 million grant and leads the efforts on the $56 million State Small Business Credit Initiative program (SSBCI) and manages the NMFUNDIT program. Ms. Nelson is the program manager and co-creator of the Credit Enhancement Program, a $4 million fund designed to assist businesses lacking collateral obtain business loans. She is a Program Manager and creator of the New Mexico Rural Efficient Business Program.
Rodney Prunty President & CEO, United Way of Central New Mexico Nominee, Board Member
Rodney Prunty is a passionate, dedicated community servant with 34 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, including 14 years with United Way. Rodney began his role as President & CEO of United Way of Central New Mexico (UWCNM) in June of 2019. In his first year, Rodney’s experience in fundraising, relationship-building, community engagement, and collective impact began to have an effect in central New Mexico. Under his leadership, UWCNM exceeded its campaign goals for the past two years. UWCNM was also selected as one of forty-seven local United Ways across the country to receive a transformational gift from MacKenzie Scott in 2020. UWCNM also raised over $1.4 million in COVID-19 recovery and other emergency funding in 2020.

Mr. Prunty is unwavering in his focus to create long-term, positive community change at scale. He holds a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership and a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services.
Henry Rael Program Officer, McCune Charitable Foundation Renewing, board member since 2020
Henry has more creative ideas than you can shake a stick at. He brings almost twenty years of entrepreneurial and business experience across a broad range of enterprises and industries to the Foundation. His responsibilities include reviewing programs, strategizing with grantees and ensuring consistent communication from the Foundation. He has two great kids, a beautiful wife and a small farm in the South Valley.
Joohee Rand Vice President for Philanthropy and Impact Investing, Anchorum St. Vincent Renewing, board member since 2019
As the Vice President for Philanthropy and Impact Investing at Anchorum St. Vincent, Joohee is responsible for developing and excuting the Foundation’s strategies for grantmaking, impact investing and community leadership initiatives to improve community health outcomes and social determinants of health.

With over two decades of experiences across philanthropic, nonprofit, corporate and public sectors in three countries, Joohee has extensive experience in leading purpose and results-driven, organizational and collaborative strategies and managing complex projects. Prior to joining Anchorum St. Vincent full time in January 2020, Joohee was the Vice President for Community Investment and Strategy at the Santa Fe Community Foundation where she developed and led the Foundation’s impact investing program, helped develop the new strategic framework focused on equity, results, and alignment, and oversaw strategic initiatives including birth to career collective impact initiatives and the Foundation’s education and economic opportunities areas of impact. Joohee holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School, a MPP from the KDI School of Public Policy and Management in Korea and a BA in General Management from the Assumption University in Thailand. 
Vanessa Roanhorse CEO, Roanhorse Consulting LLC Renewing, board member since 2019
Vanessa got her management chops working for 7 years at a Chicago-based nonprofit, the Delta Institute, focused throughout the Great Lakes region to build a resilient environment and economy through creative, sustainable, market-driven solutions. Vanessa oversaw many of Delta’s on-the-ground energy efficiency, green infrastructure, community engagement programs, and workforce development training. Vanessa is a 2019 Village Capital Money Matters Advisory Board Member, 2019 SXSW Pitch Advisor, sits on the local Living Cities leadership table, is a Startup Champions Network member, is an Advisor for emerging Navajo incubator, Change Labs, Advisor for Native Entrepreneurship in Residence Program, and is a board member for Native Community Capital, a native-led CDFI. She is a co-founder of Native Women Lead, an organization dedicated to growing native women into positions of leadership and business. Her academic education is in film from the University of Arizona but her professional education is from hands-on experience leading local, regional and national initiatives. Vanessa is Navajo living in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
