Project Summary
The Safety Bay Foreshore Community Facility Development (SBFCFD) project is an outcome of the Safety Bay Shoalwater Foreshore Master Plan completed in 2019. The project includes the replacement of the existing Safety Bay Yacht Club (due to the asset nearing end of life) with new community and commercial facilities.
Survey Introduction
We are seeking community input to help shape the design and development of a new community centre and commercial centre on the Safety Bay Foreshore at the intersection of Safety Bay and Arcadia Road in Safety Bay.

The key vision for this project is to develop both a community and commercial building to replace the current Safety Bay Yacht Club which is nearing the end of it’s life. The project will include the development of supporting amenities such as car parking and landscaping that will enhance the activation and tourism attraction of the foreshore and adjacent natural environment.

Your feedback will ensure the project reflects local needs, values, and priorities, and will help inform the planning and design of this development.
