1) Discuss the importance of segment alignment, proportion, stiffness and profile to standing, stepping and walking with full gait cycles
2) Categorize pathological gait by segment deviation
3) Discuss three clinical algorithms for orthotic decision making; 1. Determining the optimum sagittal ankle angle in an AFO, 2. Designing, aligning and tuning AFO-FCs, 3. Dorsiflexion-free AFO-FC criteria
4) Discuss the effect of early orthotic intervention on the development of lower limb intersegmental coordination.
