The Bonny Hope Wallace Award for Excellence in Human Subject Research is awarded in memory of Bonny Wallace, who was an Instructor in Surgery and Laboratory Director for Surgical Research at the Department of Surgery at UAMS as well as Clinical Coordinator of Research at Arkansas Children’s Hospital Burn Unit. She and Dr. Fred T. Caldwell were instrumental in pioneering the Arkansas Children’s Hospital Burn Unit. Her efforts were focused on cutting-edge research to promote Women’s Health.

Individuals who show exceptional dedication, respect for study participants, devotion to research integrity, commitment to mentoring, and enthusiasm for learning, within the realms of human subject research, have been nominated for this award.

A call for nominations was sent out November 2018. Seven individuals were nominated. A brief quote was selected from the nomination forms  regarding each nominee has been provided so that you may make an informed decision on who should be selected for this award.
