Reassurance Program Details

The City of Litchfield Park would like your input in regards to a reassurance program such as “RUOK”, which establishes a prearranged time for participants to receive a regular phone call inquiring about their welfare. During the call participants are asked "Are You OK?" If they answer "yes" they may simply hang up and continue with their day. This program would be available to those who have a medical condition, may live alone, and/or do not have anyone nearby that is able to check on them regularly.  A service such as this would be an auto-dialer system which calls the resident’s specific number at a designated time of day to ensure they are safe.  Should the resident not pick up, it will dial two more times before notifying either the next of kin or the police department directly.  If you believe this program would benefit you or a loved one, please complete the following survey.  Please note, should the City adopt such a program it will be the responsibility of the resident to fill out paperwork and sign a waiver.  Responses are for data purposes only and you are not required to provide your name or address.
