ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS EMERGENCY RELIEF FUND

As part of the American Rescue Plan Act, Charles City County Public Schools received $1,275,749.89 through Virginia’s Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief III (ESSER) award. At least 20% of these funds must address learning loss through the implementation of evidence-based interventions that respond to students’ social, emotional, and academic needs, particularly those in underrepresented groups. Our main focus is supporting student learning loss.  Funds may also be utilized to implement strategies that support safe in-person learning.

As the school division continues to utilize ESSER III funds, we would like your input/feedback.  All stakeholders are invited to complete this brief survey to share their feedback on how these funds should be allocated to support learning loss and to mitigate/lessen the impact of COVID-19 on student learning and well-being. This survey will remain open from November 22-December 13, 2022. Email addresses are being collected for record keeping purposes.
