Thank you for your interest in NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia's Leadership & Advocacy Summits! Please fill out the 2-minute application below. 

If your application is accepted, you will be asked to pay a $20 reservation fee to hold your spot, and will receive a $10 reimbursement at the end of the event. Individuals who pay the registration fee but do not come to the event will not receive their money back. If you are unable to pay this fee, please email Nicole Grim (nicole@naralva.org) and we would be happy to provide you with a scholarship. Lunch, dinner, snacks, and giveaways are included in your reservation fee. The application deadline is 11:59pm on Monday, August 31st.

5. What issues motivated you most to apply to the Leadership & Advocacy Summits?

  Very Motivated Motivated Neutral Not Motivated I don't know what this means.
Politics & Policy: Women should be able to make decisions about and have access to reproductive healthcare without the interference of laws and lawmakers.
Stigma/Shame: Women should not feel guilty or embarrassed for using family planning services, such as abortion or birth control.
Advocacy: The pro-choice community need to be active in educating our communities about reproductive rights and lobbying our elected officials in order to make real change.
Gender Roles: Women should be free to live how they choose despite their communities dictating what behaviors are appropriate or acceptable.
Access: Abortion should be available to everyone, no matter their geographic location, race or ethnicity, or socio-economic status.
Reproductive Justice: Women of color have unique experiences within the reproductive rights movement, and those experiences need to be shared and learned from. 
Choice: Every woman should be able to make informed, independent decisions about what is best for her and her family.
