Environment Hamilton and the Hamilton Association for Renewable Energy is working to raise awareness and get public support to encourage the City to implement "local improvement charges" or "LICs" for residents.  We want to see what Hamiltonians really think about such a program.

Local improvement charges are long-term, low interest rate loans backed by the City that home and property owners can use towards energy conservation and renewable energy projects on their home or building (e.g. insulation, HVAC upgrades, solar panels, etc.).

It is not essential for the completion of this survey, but click here if you'd like to learn more about LICs.
