Introduction

Virginia Housing is working to connect with faith-based organizations and houses of worship to create new and innovative pathways to address housing instability and development. By working together, we can turn faith-owned surplus land into community assets that strengthen congregations and families while creating new housing opportunities for the Virginians that need them.

Faith-based organizations own over 74,000 acres of land in Virginia, giving these communities a unique opportunity to connect their mission and faith with efforts to address affordable housing challenges.

To do that, we want to hear from you. This survey will help us learn more about the needs and challenges and help shape our work with partners in this space.
