The Roding Rises - National Lottery Heritage Fund funding application |
About The Roding Rises
The Roding Rises is a project proposal being developed by Thames21 and a range of partners who care about the River Roding. The partners are looking to persuade the National Lottery Heritage Fund to invest in the project, which if successfully awarded funding would run from 2026 until 2029.
The Roding Rises project seeks to revitalise the River Roding and better connect it to local people. Alongside improvement works to improve the health of the River, the project will also seek to increase understanding of the River’s value as a natural and recreational space so that more people will look after it.
If you are unfamiliar with the River Roding, that's okay. We'd value your views on your local river to support the wider work of Thames21 to improve London's rivers.
Please help us to show the National Lottery Heritage Fund how important the River Roding is for nature and people!
Your feedback on the River Roding is of utmost importance in helping make the case for a National Lottery Heritage Fund investment.
Your comments will help us better explain how the River Roding is currently valued and what people think would make it better. We also want to better understand what might prevent you from taking part, so that we can make the project the best that it can be.
Completion of the survey is entirely optional and anonymous.
How the survey data will be used
Your anonymous responses will be collated on a question by question basis and used by our contractors Resources for Change, who are working with Thames21 on the development of the National Lottery Heritage Fund application.
