You are invited to participate in an online survey about language and offensiveness. This survey is part of a study of language conducted by Jennifer Melckersson, a master’s student at Lund University. The results will become part of a master’s thesis in language and linguistics. The purpose of the thesis is to find out more about how people perceive offensiveness in things they say to each other.
Participation
For this study, I am primarily looking for participants who are native English speakers. Additionally, please only fill in the survey if you are at or above the age of 18.

Structure and time required
The survey consists of two sections. These sections will ask you to judge the offensiveness of certain statements. It will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Please fill in the survey honestly and to the best of your ability. There are no right or wrong answers!
Anonymity
Your responses will be treated with absolute confidentiality and cannot be used to identify you. You will remain fully anonymous.
