We believe this starts with our people and our leaders, which is why we invest so much in finding the most talented and passionate people in the city to join our team. As we continue to open new restaurants, however, we will need more and more high-caliber leaders to help us grow each business. Are you the leader we are looking for?
In the coming weeks and months, we will be hiring a Local Operating Partner (LOP) for each of our new locations. These LOPs, while technically employees of gusto!, will be empowered as independent business leaders and charged with driving the success of their restaurants. The position requires no upfront financial investment from the LOP, but allows them to lead their businesses with relative autonomy (with roles and responsibilities similar to those of a franchisee). Our LOPs have three primary goals: 1) operate their assigned businesses at a high degree of excellence, 2) cultivate meaningful relationships within their local communities, and 3) be a positive ambassador and face for the gusto! brand.
They will be given relative independence to operate these businesses how they choose and will have the freedom to make certain business decisions for themselves. Financially, these LOPs will partake in the success of the businesses they operate; they will have incentive to think creatively around even the smallest of details. While restaurant and management experience is not required, it is certainly preferred.
