Dave McCoy Lifetime Achievement Award

Named after ski industry legend and the founder of Mammoth Mountain, this award is presented to a long-term, "hands-on" ski area employee who has made a significant and lasting contribution to the maintenance and/or operations side of the ski industry through improvements in his or her field of expertise and by acting as a mentor and example to others.

Paul Beran Lift Maintenance Person of the Year

Named after a bright light from Sierra-at-Tahoe we lost way too soon, this award is presented to a ski resort employee who has made a significant contribution to his or her resort's lift maintenance department and/or lift maintenance within the industry as a whole.

Don Lowder Lift Operations Person of the Year

Named after a staple in lift operations at Palisades Tahoe whom we lost too soon, this award is presented to a ski resort employee who has made a significant contribution to his or her resort's lift operations department and/or lift operations within the industry as a whole.

Vehicle Maintenance "Golden Wrench" Award

This award is presented to a ski resort employee who has made a significant contribution to his or her resort's vehicle maintenance department and/or vehicle maintenance within the industry as a whole.

Outstanding Safety Leader of the Year

This award recognizes a ski area employee who shows dedication to safety best practices and programs and actively works to establish and maintain a culture of safety among employees and guests.

Top 3 Under 30 LMOE Award

This award recognizes three individuals in lift maintenance or operations who have demonstrated technical, leadership, and/or innovation excellence, and are representative of the future leaders in our industry.
