Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria and the California fires have caused significant increases in the number of children and youth who have been displaced.

Ohio's public school districts and nonpublic schools have experienced an influx of displaced students and youth.

The Federal government has sent out an application for states to apply for funds. To pursue these funds, school districts and nonpublic schools will need to complete the attached survey monkey and submit to the state no later than 5 p.m. EST on May 25, 2018.

Applicants are public school districts and nonpublic schools. Public school districts and nonpublic schools will apply separately. The applicant must complete all applicable parts of the application to be considered for funding.
