Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in resilience |
The BCI recently announced its commitment to fostering an equal, diverse, and inclusive culture that supports and celebrates all voices. Recognising that the journey towards Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) can be challenging, and its definition varies globally, BCI emphasizes the critical role EDI plays in business resilience.
Despite research showing that diverse workforces are more profitable and resilient, changing entrenched biases remains difficult.
To better understand how EDI is integrated into business continuity strategies, BCI is conducting a first-of-its-kind survey. The goal is to assess EDI's impact on innovation, decision-making, and resilience, while identifying barriers and opportunities for growth. The findings will help benchmark industry progress, showcase best practices, and drive positive change, ultimately making businesses and the world more resilient through greater diversity and inclusion.
