The Washington State Pharmacy Association is planning the launch of a special interest group for pharmacists, technicians, students, and anybody currently in or interested in the pharmaceutical industry. The first kickoff meeting is planned to be set for September. Below, you can find the mission statement of the SIG.
The WSPA Industry Special Interest Group (SIG) is a group of professionals with a mission to promote the pharmacy profession through collaboration between pharmacy and the pharmaceutical industry professionals. The group recognizes the importance and passion of those working in the pharmaceutical industry and want to create a space to show the work within medical affairs. Individuals and organizations participating in this group will share ideas regarding education, advancement of pharmaceutical knowledge, and patient care.
