Registration of interest for Community of Practice

Arafmi is inviting family, friends, kin, and community members who care for and support someone with mental ill-health to participate in a new Community of Practice.

A Community of Practice brings together people with a common interest, to share information and expertise and to collaborate on solving problems and bringing about social or system change.

This Community of Practice will:
  • meet monthly via teams, with two different meeting times to choose from
  • share information and expertise on issues of importance to mental health carers in Queensland, including through involvement of guest speakers and experts
  • develop skills in using lived experience to help bring about systems change (referred to as ‘systemic advocacy’)
  • share opportunities to use those skills to participate in system change activities.

Once you provide your details below, the facilitator will be in touch with more information.
