Question Title

* 1. We started to focus on a 3-day event but some of you told us it was too long. Please tell us how you feel about the following two OPTIONS we're considering. Assume that in either case the venue is a hotel in Las Vegas, Dallas, or Miami. Assume we have negotiated for discount hotel rooms, probably costing around $150/night (maybe higher if we choose Miami)

* 2-day event with 7-10 speakers, regular attendance cost in the $400 - $600 range. Networking reception the evening before the main event. VIP Pass available for more direct access to speakers at much higher cost.

* 3-day event with 10-14 total speakers, regular attendance cost in the $500 - $700 range. All other details the same, except VIP cost would be higher because of more speakers and more opportunities to meet them.

Please tell us your reactions to these options.

Question Title

* 2. If you have any further reactions or feedback to the last question, please tell us here.

Question Title

* 3. At the moment we're leaning toward a mid-week event, based on feedback received in Toronto. This will mean most of a week is consumed by the conference. Please tell us your preference.

Question Title

* 4. Would you most likely be staying with us at the event hotel? (We need to know how big a room block to reserve with the hotel)

Question Title

* 5. The primary cities we're considering are Las Vegas, Miami, and Dallas. Please tell us your preference (starting with your first choice)

Question Title

* 6. Is there anything else you want to tell us regarding the duration, size, location, or cost of the general admission conference? (We'll have a similar question specific to the VIP format later in the survey)

Question Title

* 7. We've received some feedback from Europeans who objected to Las Vegas (too far to travel from Europe). Please select the most appropriate answer.

Question Title

* 8. Obviously the speakers will most likely be the most popular MacroVoices interview guests, but we still need to know your favorites! Please tell us who you most want to see speak at our event (regardless of whether we've had them on the show previously or not).

Question Title

* 9. In addition to single-speaker (lecture format) presentations, we've had some requests to include panels of several speakers at a time. One popular suggestion was an update on the U.S. Dollar End Game Series we did on the podcast featuring Luke Gromen, Mark Yusko, and Jeff Snider. Please tell us your feelings about adding panel discussions. Remember, each one we add means one less lecture-format presentation.

Question Title

* 10. What topics (and speakers) would you like us to add as panel-format presentations?

Question Title

* 11. The strongest feedback we received in Toronto was that attendees value networking and meeting other attendees, so we're already adding a general reception, a longer meet & greet, and generally trying to create more networking time. But in addition to that, we're also considering changing the format of the event so that we break out into smaller groups based on interests, where we would run moderated discussion groups between attendees and speakers, so that the group is hearing from the other attendees, as well as the featured speakers. Keeping in mind that doing this means fewer slots for more featured speakers, please tell us your reaction to this idea.

Question Title

* 12. We're considering a more expensive VIP Pass (first class ticket) designed to give you much more personal access to the speakers, as well as other special content. This would include most or all of your meals being catered, in a format where you and a small number of other VIPs share the table with one of our speakers at each meal. We'd do our best to seat you with the speakers you tell us you most want to meet. It's hard to estimate the cost because the meals alone could cost several hundred dollars in total, depending on the hotel chosen. But for sake of this survey please assume the VIP Admission costs at least $1500 if we do a 2-day event and at least $2000 if we go with a 3-day event. Please tell us your level of interest in this option.

Question Title

* 13. IF YOU ANSWERED "NOT LIKELY TO PURCHASE VIP PASS" IN THE LAST QUESTION, PLEASE SKIP TO QUESTION 16 AND DON'T ANSWER THIS QUESTION OR THE NEXT TWO AFTER IT. THANKS!

In addition to seating you with speakers for every meal, we're thinking about at least one VIP-only reception. This would be all the speakers and all the VIPs with catered snacks and a cocktail bar. The idea is exactly the same as the general attendee reception, except the ratio of speakers to attendees is much higher, giving you more face time with the speakers. An additional benefit is networking with the other VIPs, who we presume will be more likely to share your interests. Please tell us how you like this idea.

Question Title

* 14. In addition to seating VIPs with speakers for meals and offering you a VIP-only reception with the speakers, our general concept for the event is that we run the main program for 2.5 days. Then on the final day, there's one more catered VIP lunch and then something REALLY SPECIAL for the VIPs for the rest of the afternoon. Are you ready to hear our REALLY SPECIAL plan for what we're going to offer our VIPs that last afternoon? (drum roll please) We're still trying to figure it out, and we really need your suggestions!

Our initial thought was that we have a much smaller "town meeting" style moderated forum between VIPs and a select group of speakers that can focus on a really important topic. The idea would be with everyone's mind full of new ideas and insights from the 2.5-day general conference, we bring the VIPs together for a final afternoon with several speakers where we really get into a deep group conversation about important issues.

Initially the topic was going to be U.S. Dollar End Game, but then we realized that should be a panel in the general program for all attendees. It's also a topic that is best suited to the speakers doing most of the talking, and for the final VIP session we wanted to choose something more conducive to a group discussion where the VIPs voices are heard along with the speakers. We'll ask you for suggestions on topics and speakers in the next question, but for now tell us how you feel about the general approach.

Question Title

* 15. Please tell us your suggestions for topics and speakers for the final VIP forum. If you don't like this approach, please tell us what you'd prefer to see us do for VIPs instead.

Question Title

* 16. If there's anything else you'd like to suggest or share with us regarding our next event, please do so here.

Question Title

* 17. OPTIONAL: We'd appreciate if you gave us your email, especially if you expressed interest in the VIP Pass option. We promise not to sell your email to anyone or spam you. We just want to be able to contact you with news on any developments that we think might interest you as our plans firm up.

Question Title

* 18. Our NEXT event will almost certainly be in USA, but we know a lot of you want us to do an event in EUROPE. If this is NOT for you, it's safe to finish here - no need to complete the rest of the survey unless you want to attend a EUROPEAN Macrovoices live event sometime AFTER our next event which will be in USA.

How likely would you be to attend a MacroVoices LIVE event in Europe, proably in Summer of 2019? Assume the cost and other parameters would be similar to what we've described above for a U.S. event.

Question Title

* 19. If you answered <50%, please leave this blank. If you answered >50%, please list  .cities you would like us to consider, in order of preference, starting with your favorite pick
